Ingredients:
2 cups rice
3 to 4 cups water depending on the type of Rice
Preparation:
The rice is processed and cooked differently.
In a bowl ,add 2 cups rice and 5 to 6 cups water. cover the bowl with a lid for 7 to 10 days.
After 7 to 10 days ,you will see the water has become thick and a irregular smell has been produced.
Discard the water and clean the rice for about 4 to 5 times.
After cleaning the rice , cook the rice with 4 cups of water until it gets tender.You can use rice cooker too.
People in South Asia specially in Bangladesh eat this type of rice in the morning.
Some people like the smell of this rice.
This rice goes with Bengali Mashed Masoor Beans,Bengali Spicy Mashed Potato,Bengali Mashed Egg,Okra fry ,Mashed Dry fish curry or Pumpkin fry.
