Cook time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients:
8 eggs
1 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp cumin powder
2 bay leaf
2 whole black cardamom
1 cinnamon stick
2 pinch of cardamom powder
2 chopped dates (optional)
1/4 cup chopped tomato
6" long 1 lemon grass
1 tbsp almond powder
[[[1 tbsp chopped cerely
1 tbsp chopped basil
1 tbsp chopped mint
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 green chili
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp chopped onion]]]
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp or more salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 tbsp fried onion
Directions:
Step 1:
Boil the eggs for 30 minutes and remove the shells.Make 2 to 3 scratches on each eggs.
Now in a hot sauce pan, fry the eggs with 2 pinch of salt for 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 2 :
Make a paste of the ingredients mentioned into the bracket in a blender.
Step 3:
In the same saucepan,add oil ,onion, whole black cardamom,bay leaf,2 pinch of cardamom powder,
chopped date and cinnamon stick.Sautee it for 5 to 10 minutes until it fills the room with sweet smells.
Step 4:
Now add ginger-garlic paste,the mixture that you blend,yogurt,tomato,cumin powder,salt ,almond powder and sugar lemon grass and saute it for 5 min.Then add the milk and eggs.Cook on a low heat for 15 minutes until the spices and oil gets separated and then add the fried onion and simmer for 5 minutes.
Sweet and sour egg korma is ready to serve.
