Bengali Style Spicy Mashed Potato-Style 1

When I feel like to be a vegetarian , I make this recipe with Bengali style mashed tomato, Bengali  style mashed egg ,garlic-flavored masoor beans soup.And I really enjoyed this type of treat.No guilty feeling.

To save time you can boil egg, potato and tomato altogether in the same saucepan.

Prep Time:5 to 7  Minutes 
Cook time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1. 4 to 5 medium size  boiled potato
2. 1 small size onion (chopped)[ Around   1/4 cup]
3.2 to 3 green chili (chopped) or 2 to 3 roasted red chili (It will get black if you roast it,You can combine both)
4. 4 tbsp chopped cilantro
5. 1/2 tsp roasted black seeds and regular cumin seeds combined

6. 3  tbsp  canola oil
7. 1/2 tsp salt and 2 pinch more 
8. 4 to 5 garlic cloves chopped 

Directions:

Step 1:
Smash the potato.
Step 2:
In a  hot saucepan, add oil and saute onion,garlic,chili.Stir fry til the onion gets lightly golden brown for 5 to 7 minutes at a medium to low heat.
Now add the roasted black seeds and cumin seeds and salt.

Step 3 :
Immediately add the mashed potato and mix with the spices and oil  properly.

Finally add the cilantro and cook for 5 more minutes .

Bengali style mashed potato is ready to serve with rice and  garlic-flavored masoor beans soup.
We can't think of this dish without rice and garlic-flavored masoor beans soup.
