Home Remedy for Constipation

Constipation is very  funny thing but at the same time very painful, who suffers.You have to make efforts in your  bowl movements and make sounds and anyone hears that sound, that kinda embarrassing.

 Constipation is the term given to a condition in which bowel movements happen less frequently than is normal for a particular individual, or the stool is small, hard, and difficult or painful to pass.

In addition to infrequent bowel movements, other symptoms of constipation include bad breath, loss of appetite, headaches and dizziness, constant fullness in the abdomen and pain in the lower back, and diarrhea alternating with constipation.

One of the primary causes of constipation is a bad diet. For example, consuming foods which are low in essential vitamins and minerals, not drinking enough water during the day, and drinking excessive amounts of coffee or tea commonly leads to improper bowel movements.

Natural Home Remedy from Your Own Kitchen:

1.Home Remedy Using Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple Cider Vinegar assists our body in performing natural bowel movements since it contains significant amounts of pectin, which is a water soluble fiber that helps to improve digestion by normalizing the acid levels in the stomach.
For an effective treatment of constipation, add 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar into an 8 oz glass of water, and drink this mixture three times a day.

2.Eating Leafy Veggies and Fruits :

Mango ,warm milk,cabbage juice,leafy veggies like spinach,pumpkin leaf,bottle gourd leaf,mustard leaf helps in reducing constipation.

Not every remedy is for everyone.What is worked for me might not work for you .So it's better to know your body and take necessary steps.Sometimes, apple cider vinegar is not  easy to drink. Few times I vomited.

I take 2 glasses of warm milk, some times it  helps some times its not.But yogurt really helps me a lot.Take 1 cup yogurt early in the morning in  an empty stomach. 

But very hot and spicy food really works on my constipation.Usually, when I suffer from constipation, I take 2 to 3 hot pepper or hot green chili ,immediately it starts to  work.But hot chili therapy is not for all.Not everyone can bear everything.

3.Others:
  • Apples are very good at treating constipation. Eat 2 small apple in the morning.
  • A simple home remedy for constipation is to drink a glass of lemon juice in water with a pinch of salt.
  • Regular intake of papaya at early morning in an empty stomach can prevent constipation.
  • Figs are very useful remedy for constipation.
  • Spinach taken in raw or cooked form is very helpful in cleaning bowl system.
  • Oranges have colons and it can prevent constipation.
  • Castor oil is also very effective.
  • The pulp of the ripe fruit of cassia tree is used in the treatment of constipation.It has no side effects even when taken by children and pregnant woman.
Things to do:
  • Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water.It's important to keep your intestines working well.
  • Avoid dry food.
  • Avoid rice when suffering from constipation .Take wheat instead.
