Cooking time:10-15 minutes
This raw mango drink is very efficient body cooler and helps to cope with heat stroke.
Ingredients:
Raw Mango 1
Dates 100 gm= around 6 dates
Tapioca( Sabudana) 50 gm or 3.5 tbsp
Sugar 4 tbsp
Mint Leaves 2 or 3
Water 3 cups
Ice cubes as required
Directions:
- De-seed the dates and raw mango.
- Wash and soak the tapioca in about 1 cup of water for at least 1 hour, Sabudana will soak up most of the water and become light and fluffy.
- Pour water,tapioca and sugar in a pan and cook in low heat.
- When tapioca melts, check the consistency then add few mint leaves and let it cook for few more minutes.
- Now remove from heat and let it cool. Blend the mixture and rest of the ingredients until smooth. Pour drink in a glass and serve with mint and ice.
