Some Kitchen Tips-VII

  • Egg: If you drop an egg on the floor, cover it with salt and leave it for a couple of minutes. Cleaning the mess will be easy with a paper towel.
  • Tomatoes: Store tomatoes with stems pointed down and they will stay fresher, longer.
  • Chili: If you happen to bite a chili in your food,take a sip of cold milk to sustain the heat.
  • Lemon: To avoid refrigerator stinking, throw a piece of lemon!
  • Vegetables: When boiling vegetables, cook them whole and then cut them into pieces. This reduces the loss of proteins and soluble carbohydrates.

  • Chili: While storing green chilies, remove the stems. This will help the chilies to stay fresh for a longer time.
  • Lemon: To keep lemon fresh put them in water and store in refrigerator.
  • Onion: While frying onions add salt to it so that it will be cooked very fast!
  • Garlic: To Peel Garlic, fry them on hot pan for few seconds, peels will come out very easily! 
  •  Aquarium water: When you clean your fish tank, the water you drain can also be used to water your house plants. The nitrogen and phosphorus in fish droppings make aquarium water a great fertilizer.
  • Toothpaste: Toothpaste is a great silver cleaner.
  • Loaf: If your loaf of bread is starting to go stale, just put a piece of fresh celery in the bag and close it back up. For some reason, this restores a fresh taste and texture to the bread.
  • These tips are still just old-wives tales. This  is fun to read. There are a few things in this list that DO work to some extent,again some  may not work to many cases.So, viewers discretion is required.
