Cook time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
3 cups of chopped okra
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder (Optional)
1 small size onion chopped
1 tsp salt
2 green chili
1/4 cup cilantro
1/4 cup dry shrimp or 1/4 cup shrimp (uncooked ,washed and unveined )You can use more if you want.
1/4 cup canola oil
Directions:
1.In a hot pan fry onion with oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
2.Then add turmeric,garlic,salt and cumin powder.Saute for 2 minutes and then add shrimp and stir fry for 5 minutes.
3.Then add okra .Mix everything properly.Cover the lid and cook it for 5 to 7 minutes at medium to low heat.
4.When the okra gets tender or cooked ,add cilantro and green chili.Simmer for 2 more minutes.
Serve hot with rice .
