Tapioca-Potato Balls

Ingredients:
  4 medium size potatoes-boiled, peeled, mashed
1/3 cup Tapioca (Sabudana)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red pepper chopped (optional)
1 tbsp coriander/cilantro-chopped
1 tsp green chillies-chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
oil for deep frying

Method:


1.Wash tapioca once-twice ,then add enough water to just cover the sago in the bowl. 
2.Leave it for 1 to 2 hours.
3.Tapioca will swell and become double in size and will be soft.Drain excess water.
4.Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients together except oil and make into a soft dough as shown in pic.
5.Moist hands and make small medium size balls and flatten slightly to form patties(or Shape into desired shapes-round balls /square or flat rounds like patty as shown in the picture.)
6.Slide the rounds in the heated oil on medium flame. Deep Fry till they are crisp and light brown in color.
7.Drain them well on paper towels.

Serve hot with your favorite sauce or chutney.
