Okra Fry

Prep Time:10 Minutes 
Cook time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients:

20 to 22 pieces of Okra
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp flour or basan
Few drops of water
1 tsp salt
1 small size onion chopped
3 tbsp olive or mustard oil to fry

Directions:

  • Wash the okra  properly and cut the head and tail of okra.


  • Scratch 1 to 2 times on okra so that it can absorb all the spices.Combine all the spices with few drops of water to make a paste  and then mix with okra and keep it aside for 5 to 10 min.


  • Now in a hot pan, add oil and fry all the okra   for 10 minutes at medium to low heat.When its almost done add the chopped onion and fry it for 5 more minutes.

Don't cook at hight heat , Okra  may burn.


Serve with white rice .
